Romanotto

Terms of Service

What Romanotto is

Romanotto is workflow software for fine-art appraisal: it helps you catalogue works from photographs, gather comparable sales, and draft value conclusions and reports. It assembles; the appraiser certifies. Nothing Romanotto produces is an appraisal until a qualified appraiser has reviewed, corrected, and adopted it, and nothing on this site is legal, tax, or investment advice.

Your account and workspace

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish from your workspace, for keeping your password private, and for the people you invite — invited members see everything in the workspace. You must have the right to upload the photographs and records you store here.

AI assistance

Cataloging suggestions, comp parsing, and drafted value conclusions are produced with the help of AI models. They can be wrong. Every AI-drafted field and figure is presented for your review and remains editable; the software discloses AI assistance in generated reports, and structural warnings flag weakly-supported conclusions. Relying on an unreviewed draft is expressly outside the intended use.

Third-party data

Auction records come from a licensed market-data provider and are provided for your evaluation as comparables; they may contain errors and are not to be re-sold or extracted in bulk. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank's published reference rates. Neither is a statement of value by us.

Your data

Your catalogue is yours. You can export the complete workspace (JSON or CSV) at any time from the workspace page. See the privacy policy for how data is stored and what leaves the server.

Service basis

Romanotto is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and our liability is limited to the greatest extent the law allows. We may change or discontinue features; if the service is ever wound down, you will get a reasonable window to export your data.
